A billion Dreams Fund
Lydia’s Story
Created in partnership with a talented filmmaker in South India, this mini-documentary shares the heart and soul of the mission of A Billion Dreams Fund, who are making dreams come true for the at-risk poor and underserved across India.
Part of a slate of videos covering their support of a women’s shelter in South India, the video centered around the inspiring story of a woman named Lydia, her struggle to survive profound hardship, leading to her joyful and hope-filled recovery after seeking help at the women’s shelter.
The team at A Billion Dreams Fund was ecstatic about the final result and used the videos to support their fundraising efforts, including helping to launch a #GivingTuesday campaign.

Social versions
Shorter 60 second, 30 second and 15 second versions were created to help ABDF with content for social media. These shorter versions are more easily absorbed on social channels than the longer 3.5 minute flagship video, and lead to higher engagement.
